My name is Laia Solé-Feu, my role at Almirall is RnD Project Manager

Why did you decide to dedicate yourself to science / R&D?

I started my career as an Organic Chemist in the scientific Parc of Barcelona (PCB), where I discovered that the synthesis of new drugs was a very nice and exciting way to help society to improve diseases treatment

How does your work in R&D help patients in their daily lives?

My work help patients daily lives bringing to the market innovative drugs to improve current treatments. I work to facilitate and to help projects to be managed properly to achieve our final goal of registering Almirall new products

What do you think R&D brings to Almirall?

R&D brings to Almirall innovation through research and develop tasks to find  new drugs and new treatments for improving patients’ lives

What makes you proud about your daily work at Almirall?

I am proud of helping and facilitating daily work life to project team members for achieving our common goals on Almirall RnD projects

How do you imagine the future of dermatology R&D?

I would like to see the future in dermatology R&D as an innovative way to help patient’s needs, bringing innovation and adapting R&D tasks to the new era of dermatology

What is your greatest motivation to carry out research in your day-to-day?

My greatest motivation is to reach our team goals on RnD Pprojects, and I believe to achieve our goals we need to work for having the best research every day

How does your work in R&D help patients in their daily lives?

As a R&D Project Manager my work is to facilitate and manage R&D Almirall projects with the objective to register a new product, which will bring a new and innovative treatment to improve patients’ lives.
